Simple Anti-Procrastination Technique: "Do It Now!" (Video)

This is for all hardcore procrastinators: "Do it now!" (Say it out-loud).

Yes, you can read books and see a therapist about your procrastination, but a lot of it really comes down to just doing it now.

See those dishes - "Do It Now". See those bills that need to be paid -- "Do It Now". See that… okay, you get the picture.

This simple idea has really helped me get stuff done. Instead of getting another cup of coffee... you got it... "Do It Now!"

We can waste a lot more time thinking about doing something than just doing it. Just start.

For many of us, getting organized is an important part of changing our lives for the better. If we are wasting our lives away procrastinating (which is usually a cover for some sort of fear), then we are wasting our energy and our precious time that could be used for doing what we were born to do.

Of course, maybe our disorganization is not a deep psychological issue. Maybe some of us just never learned how to get stuff done.

Either way -- "Do It Now!" (Don’t think about it. That is what has gotten you into trouble in the first place).

Of course, there are other issues involved with procrastination (for example, keeping yourself busy with unimportant tasks), but this is a good place to start. We'll talk more about this topic again.

Have a look at this fun 4 minute video. It comes from the great blog The Art of Manliness. "Do it now!"
